Sivlersonic Records wrote (in German): "Seit Ende der Siebziger Jahre ist der britische Musiker John Watts bereits im Musikgeschäft erfolgreich. Seine Karriere begann er als Sänger, Songschreiber und Gitarrist der Band "Fischer-Z" und hatte Hits mit Songs wie "Marliese", "Room service" oder "Cruise missiles". Seine Solokarriere startete John Watts nach Auflösung der Band im Jahr 1982, aber veröffentlichte weitere Alben unter dem ehemaligen Bandnamen, später unter seinem eigenen. Insgesamt sind von "Fischer-Z" und John Watts mittlerweile über zwanzig Alben erschienen. Für sein neues Werk "It has to be" hat er sich auf eine Reise durch elf verschiedene Länder Europas begeben, hat mit ihm unbekannten Menschen gesprochen, sie gefilmt und jeweils Songs über diese Begegnungen geschrieben.
